Raghunath Temple
Raghunath Temple,jammu J&kSituated in the heart of the city and surrounded by a group of other temples, this temple dedicated to Lord Rama is outstanding and unique in Northern India. Work on the temple was started by Maharaja Gulab Singh, founder of the Kingdom of Jammu and Kashmir in 1835 AD and was completed by his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh in 1860 AD. The inner walls of the main temple are covered with gold sheet on three sides. There are many galleries with lakhs of 'Saligrams'. The surrounding Temples are dedicated to various Gods and Goddesses connected with the epic Ramayana.Amongst the temples in Jammu, the Raghunath Mandir dedicated to Lord Rama, takes pride of the place, being situated right in the heart of Jammu. The temple has seven shrines, with god-plated interiors. The most important houses the Dogra's patron deity, Rama, Vishnu's eighth incarnation.
Ranbireshwar Temple
Ranbireeshwar Temple jammu J&kThe Ranbireshwar Temple is an important itinerary of the Jammu and Kashmir pilgrim tourism. The temple is situated on the Shalimar Road in the city of Jammu. Built in the 19th century, the magnificent temple is flanked throughout the year by the devotees who gather in large numbers to offer prayers to the reigning deity of the temple.
The temple was built by Maharaja Ranbir Singh who is one of the ancestors of the Dogra rulers of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is a part of the holy trinity of the Hindu mythology. The construction of the temple was completed in the year 1883. The premises of the temple are divided into two halls decorated by images of the gods Ganesha and Kartikeya. The idols of the faithful Nandi Bull is found in the temple. 1.25 lakh bona lingams of the Lord Shiva are placed in the two halls of the temple.
Bawey Wali Mata
Bawey wali Mata-jammu J&k5 kms from Jammu city. Situated on a rock face on the left bank of the river Tawi, This is perhaps the oldest fort and edifice in the city. Constructed originally by Raja Bahulochan over 3,000 years ago, the existing Fort was more recently improved and built by Dogra rulers. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali inside the fort popularly known as Bave wali Mata. The fort overlooks river placidly down the Jammu city. every Tuesday and Sunday pilgrims throng this templeand jostle for Tawi flowing worship. Bave Wali Mata is the presiding deity of Jammu. One can really imagine; on looking at the fort; the wars fought, the invasions prevented and even the grandeur of the Royal families. Today the fort is surrounded with beautiful terraced garden which is favourite picnic spot of the city folk. It has waterfalls, flowers and big trees.
Peer Baba Shrine
Peer Bba Shrine - jammu J&kOn the back side of the Civil Airport is famous Dargah of the Muslim saint, Peer Budhan Ali Shah. On Thursdays, Hindu and Sikh devotees vastly outnumber their Muslim brethren at the shrine. The Dargah, about 10 kms from the city towards the City airport at Satwari, is thronged every Thursday by hundreds of devotees who visit the shrine to make their offerings including oil for lighting lamps.They belong to different religions; one is Muslim while the other is Hindu. Yet they go to the same shrine to offer the prayers. The shrine has been held in high veneration by them for ages now. Popularly known as “Satwari Wale Peer Baba”, this Dargah of Baba Budan Ali Shah Peer, situated in south Jammu across the Tawi river, is held in high esteem among all, irrespective of caste, creed or colour.
Peer Khoh
Peer Khoh-jammu J&kPeer Khoh, an ancient cave housing a Shiva Lingam which is believed to have been formed naturally, is located near the Jammu valley. Considered as one of the major attractions of Jammu & Kashmir pilgrim tourism, Peer Khoh reflects the natural wonders of the state.

Popularly known as a cave shrine, Peer Khoh houses two natural caves. While the first one has a maximum height of five feet, the second cave is a bit broader and spans to around twelve feet. The temple of Peer Khoh is enshrined with the Lingam of Lord Shiva and is visited by huge number of Hindu devotees every year.

The local myths surrounding the Peer Khoh speaks of the hidden channels that pave way for many cave shrines. It is also believed that the internal rock routes of Peer Khoh have extensive extension towards many faraway locations.
